The name...Christian Pereira. I go by many an alias, but being that my mother will be listening, I'll simply go by Chris-P. Originally from the Bronx NY, the birth place of Hip Hop, it is no surprise that music has played an intricate role in my life. Musically, my influences are Disco, Funk, Original Rhythm and Blues, 80's/90's Rap, and the 00's Mixtape Culture. Listening to DJ Funk Master Flex for the majority of my life in NYC made me want a set of Turntables. I did a house party here and there as Teenager, but gave up on the art when I went away to College. To make a long story short, it's now roughly 10 years later and I'm re-living my childhood.
